Hugs & Hope began with one simple act of compassion: a hungry man on the street and a little boy who couldn’t walk away. That moment opened our eyes to how many people feel unseen and unheard, and it shaped the heart of this ministry.

We spent years serving families across our community, offering food, love, and dignity. When Paul, our co-founder, fell ill and later passed away, everything stopped except his heart for the homeless. Even in his final months, he continued going out to serve because he believed no one should suffer alone.

After months of grief and prayer, God led us to the Rock of Ages Memorial Drive Hunger Ministry. The moment we stepped in, it felt like home. It felt like purpose. It felt like God bringing us full circle back to the people who need us most.

Today, we are pouring our hearts into serving our homeless and unhoused neighbors. We show up with food, clothing, and compassion, but more than that, we show up with presence. We look people in the eyes and remind them that their story still matters.

We want to do more. We need to do more. And we can only do it with the help of those who believe that every life has value.
